However, because of the stress and pressure, he passes out while performing for the final screening. Because of this trauma, he no longer can go near the piano. When that boy collapses in a park, he's rescued by a man. The months and years pass, and the two have become acknowledged members of a certain underground conglomerate. One day the young man is involved in a drive by shooting and loses his memory, then turns back to the piano and begins to perform beautifully..... A musical in which the protagonist is wrapped in trauma, that follows him until he is determined to search for his path in life, with his friend as an axis, and the distractions of his feelings for the many women he loses his heart to.

1920s England during the post WWI economic depression. In the southwest of England, the ancient Roman spa town of Bath, with its long history as a destination for the upper classes to go for health and rejuvenation, is also suffering from the sluggish economy. Alex Cunningham is a Vaudevillian working at Bath’s small music hall, the Palladium. He strives to soften the hearts of the weary visitors to the town by presenting them with laughter and enjoyment.

California, beginning of the 19th century. Diego, the son of the governor, has been sent abroad to study in Spain but is in fact leading an uninhibited and wild lifestyle. There in Spain, he is re-acquainted with his childhood friend Luisa, who has come to tell him of his older brother Ramon’s tyranny following their father Alejandro’s death.
