A driver is sent on a simple errand: to pick up a designer t-shirt and a tin of viagra for his boss, who is shacked up in a hotel with his lover. Simple as it sounds, the road trip crisscrosses the chasms of time, class, and character.

During World War 1 a Russian soldier (Pyotr Sobolevsky) serves in Russian Expeditionary Force in France where he is chosen for his marksmanship and trained as a skilled sniper. After the Russian revolution the soldier returns home while his commander (Boris Shlikhting) fights against the Soviet Russia. In 1930 the former soldier works on a factory and also he is the instructor in shooting club. Once the town that is near the Soviet border is attacked by foreign troops (the hostile state isn't named but the uniform of the soldiers resembles Finnish). The character meets againt with his former commander who serves in invading forces.

For years, Alain and Madeleine, in their fifties, have consecrated all of their time to their small bistro. Devoted to serving their clientele, they are liked by everyone. The arrival of a new customers, a young worker passing through named Jacques, turns their lives upside down...

The film tells the romantic story of Ömer and Nilgün who meet in Bombay. Ömer loves adventures and travels the world. He meets Nilgün while visiting Bombay. He then falls in love with her. Though she is looking for a rich husband, Nilgün starts to fall for Ömer too. Nilgün has to make a choice between Ömer and rich Indian Prince Ahmed. They meet in Bombay and Nilgün is about to explain why she wants to break up. However, something will happen during the conversation to influence her decision.

On their last night of spring break, four old friends, now all college freshmen, realize their small town has more meaning than they ever imagined.
