A successful, womanizing middle-aged man decides to move out of the house he shares with his wife after she confesses to having an affair. He looks for a new place to live and ends up moving into his wife's lover's apartment as a roommate. The husband begins to take an interest in the artistic work of the lover and coaches him for a big job interview. Little does he know that the job he's helping the lover to get is within his own company... A story about strange circumstances and the limits of friendship.

Through an unexpected inheritance, a couple of male scientists travel to the moon via a rocket of their own design. There, they find a lush garden paradise rather than a barren wasteland. They're captured by (semi-nude) telepathic humanoids and taken before the Great Council, where the Moon Goddess decides they should be allowed to continue their experiments. One falls in love, the other seeks to return home.

A group of people talk about very different subjects, including a strange course that one of them has just completed. There is tension in the air, although it is not quite clear why. They give the impression that they are killing time while waiting for a job that everyone needs for different reasons. Are they actors looking for a role?
