Ford Beebe's "original screenplay" (he had used it before) finds the cattlemen, headed by "Calamity" Parker, opposing the use of their rangelands by sheepherders, with cattlemen Lee Jamison and Ed Randall in the dissenting minority and they offer sheepman Angus McLeod free grazing privileges. Saloon owner Barney Ross offers to keep the sheepmen off of the range and out of town if each cattleman will pay $500.

A newspaper reporter covering a famous magician's eroding marriage must later prove that the subject was responsible for his wife's murder.

Ted Haley rides to his brother's ranch and finds him dying from a knife wound. The brother names Sol Rothert as his killer. Leaving the house, Ted doesn't notice a mysterious man watching him, but he sees a rider gallop up to the house and enter, and Ted rushes to investigate.

A newspaperman Paul Cluett (Jack Holt) gets rival reporter Linda Lawrence (Mae Clark) to admit that she is investigating a story in Morocco that guns are being smuggled illegally.

After winning a qualifying trial for a big speed-boat race in Santa Monica, California, Joe Dunn is offered a bribe, by gamblers, not to take part in the race and is so incensed that he starts a fight which lands him in jail. The girl he loves, Peggy McNeil, takes his place, but crashes into a buoy and is seriously injured---and Joe goes to desperate lengths to raise money for the services of a famous surgeon.

The champion race car driver Tommy Morton is the eternal rival to less-ethical speed king Larry 'Skids' Brannigan. What no one knows is that Tommy and Skids are actually brothers, separated at birth. Driven by a filial devotion that he can't explain, Tommy tries to dissuade Skids from recklessness, only to be "repaid" when Skids tries to steal away Tommy's blond girl-friend Eileen Hart.

Larry Clarke rides into the town of Mesa, Arizona, from Texas, where he has just sold his ranch. Several people call him "Ted Crockett",who supposedly has been dead for five years, and a bartender advises him to say he is Crockett, as he can aid the law abiding citizens that way. Both Red Grindy, leader of the town's badmen, and Sheriff Ben Adams are fooled by Larry's resemblence to Crockett, as is Crockett's young widow, Mary, until Larry convinces her his isn't. He finds that all of the Crockett cowhands, with the exception of Neal King, are systematically rustling Mary's cattle. Larry takes charge, sends to Texas for his riders and then brings to an end the reign of terror Grindy and his men have over the territory. Creased in the head by a gunshot, Larry is freed of his amnesia and turns out to actually be Ted Crockett.

An old widower, former WW2 radio operator, perceives flashing bulb as his late wife's messages from Heaven. His love will never die even when the lights are gone.

Unable to pay her notes, Ann Bradford, owner of the Circle C, decides to auction off a half-interest in her ranch. Matt Stark, a crooked land dealer, holds Ann's notes. His efforts to buy the ranch have been refused and his instructs his henchman, Barlow, and his other henchmen to make certain that nobody bids on the ranch. Clint Buckley rides into town on the day of the auction, overhears Stark's instructions to his henchies, and decides to attend the sale. Barlow attempts to intimidate him, they fight, Buckley wins and his bid of $25,000 wins him a half-interest in the Circle C. But, Stark, isn't finished yet in his efforts to get the ranch, especially since a couple of his hirelings are on the Circle C payroll.

As they searched from place to place throughout the night to find an official institution that could take Şemsi in, the officers found pieces of their own lives in his. The officers' nighttime ordeal with Şemsi would deeply affect them.

A woman who lives forever is reluctantly connected to a clandestine group that she calls her family. Struggling with this alienating condition, she now faces the decisive days of her endless life.

Kenyon has the newly arriving Ranger shot and his man Martin assume the Ranger's identity. Clay finds the Ranger before he dies and learns the truth. But when Clay confronts Martin, Martin convinces the townspeople he is a real Ranger and Clay is the murderer. Clay escapes and must now find a way to expose Martin as a fake.

A district attorney uses psychology to expose a criminal gang by publicizing the prosecution of an innocent man.
