Dogs is a short film that shows five ways of life in Havana through five different dogs and their relationships with their environments.

Puggles, Schnoodles, Labradoodles-they're not newfangled snack treats, they're actually newfangled dogs. Join us as we chronicle the never-ending search for the perfect canine and look at the world of hybrid, purebred, and rescue dogs.

Starting from Claudia's incredible connection with dogs, the relationship she has with her past and the changes she experiences thanks to these animals are explored. The daily activities of the shelter where she volunteers are shown, and Blanca, the shelter's owner, highlights the difficulties they face in keeping the place running.

Through the stories of people who refuse to abandon animals even amid the devastation of war, this documentary portrays the resilience and dignity of those who refuse to surrender to violence.

An undercover investigation of Martin Creek Kennel is carried out by the animal rights group Last Chance for Animals. The film documents the efforts of a young animal rights activist named "Pete" to both get hired by the Martin Creek Kennel and secure enough evidence to shut down owner C.C. Baird's violation-filled kennel.
