Hollywood Lucifer

Follow a day of the life of Big Buck Bunny when he meets three bullying rodents: Frank, Rinky, and Gamera. The rodents amuse themselves by harassing helpless creatures by throwing fruits, nuts and rocks at them. After the deaths of two of Bunny's favorite butterflies, and an offensive attack on Bunny himself, Bunny sets aside his gentle nature and orchestrates a complex plan for revenge.

Kiko is a nightmare for all the animals. He bullies them all the time, even the smallest mouse can't escape from him! How could the animals stand out and make him understand that they are just like him, capable of emotions, love, and deserve respect?

Mairy, a thirty-year-old woman from Philippines, works in a village in Cyprus. She takes care of Mr. Michalis, an eigthy-five-year-old man with arteriosclerosis. Mr. Michalis spends his days in front of the television, watching time and again a soap opera with a heroine named Anna. He soon becomes obsessed with this heroine, to the point of calling Mairy 'Anna', despite the remarks of his daughter Melpo. When Mairy finds some old photographs she makes an important discovery...

Vincent, a young, homeless drug addict, stumbles through a wet and dark street in a very awkward state. He walks inside an abandoned house to sleep for the night, as thunder rumbles and the skies promise a storm. Inside, everything is silent, and he throws himself on an old chair, falling asleep instantly. It is when he wakes up that madness falls on him. The house is not all it seems, and Vincent is forced to relive his past, a past he has tried desperately to suppress and deny with drugs and denial for most of his life.

As technology accelerates, our species' collective imagination of the future grows ever more kaleidoscopic. We are all haunted by temporal distortion, perhaps no more than when we attempt to remember what the future looked like to our younger selves. As the mist of time devours our memories, the future recedes; each of us burdened by the gaping mouth of entropy. Yet, emerging technology provides a glimmer of hope; transhumanism promises a future free from mortality, disease and pain. Does our salvation lie in digital simulacra? Ancestors is a film about spiritual forefathers and mothers in a purely fanciful sense. These are classical figures, anatomical figures, fairy tale figures and romantic figures all thrown in together - all my creative root-sources, in a kind of playful tribute. Like part 2 of Duo Concertantes, it's a moving single picture, now doubled.

The story turns on a small deception - since they were married, instead of the real thing, the wife has always made Chicory (a cheap substitute for Coffee) for her husband. He never catches on to the deception. For him, the slush tastes better than the best Coffee.

The story he has been told by his grandfather was about people's dream to go out of their small town to Russia. For them, the greatest pleasure on the earth was taking a prostitute.

Humanity no longer exists, only Fluor and Carlix, two ghosts in sportswear, remain. They wander among the remains of an extinct civilization, one in search of a Wi-Fi connection, the other in search of the head of a giant cetacean. A story of encounter and friendship, punctuated by an ultimate playlist : that of the end of the world.

A man's repeated attempts to retrieve an apple off a high tree branch all prove fruitless. What does he want the apple for? That would be telling.
