She is the subject of his life’s greatest regret, and she materializes everywhere in this Otherworld. The writer cannot detach any thoughts of his life from her.

Procedurally-generated frames slowly expand in density to visually explore the mind of a psychopathic, narcissistic teenager, up until the demise of the subject.

At the same time, a secret that his family has been keeping for a long time suddenly comes to the surface and it is feared that the worst might happen soon. The expectation for the stroke of midnight on the night before Christmas is transformed into reality for everyone on the eve of something truly different. Something terrible that might happen.

X-ray images were invented in 1895, the same year in which the Lumière brothers presented their respective invention in what today is considered to be the first cinema screening. Thus, both cinema and radiography fall within the scopic regime inaugurated by modernity. The use of X-rays on two sculptures from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum generates images that reveal certain elements of them that would otherwise be invisible to our eyes. These images, despite being generally created for technical or scientific purposes, seem to produce a certain form of 'photogénie': they lend the radiographed objects a new appearance that lies somewhere between the material and the ethereal, endowing them with a vaporous and spectral quality. It is not by chance that physics and phantasmagoria share the term 'spectrum' in their vocabulary.

Over the course of 24 hours following a murder, a criminal descends into paranoia, where guilt, fear, and reality slowly blur.

A juxtaposition of two types of alienation: social and spiritual. While the concept itself refers to an estrangement from the self, it also explores how the subject loses their identity to social trends. The film portrays two groups of alienated individuals at different parties: the 'happy' party, where everyone smokes and drinks simply to conform, and the 'sad' party, where alienation is spiritual and intrapersonal. Although their realities differ, both groups hear the same thing: the sound of being alive.
