Overview

When a cosmic warp strikes a commuter tracks, a stylish teenager named Dorthy Ross ( Soroya Clayton-Wright) and her trusty dog poodle Smarty are transported from the ordinary world straight into Stardust City—a glittering, neon-lit fantasy metropolis. Arriving in style aboard a custom-built, purple clockwork locomotive, she is greeted by the glamorous The Good Witch of the South ( Joh'Vonnie Monroe ), who welcomes her with a show-stopping musical number. But the party is short-lived. Armed with a pink shirt, a purple poodle skirt, and a magical pair of silver slippers, the young trendsetter must navigate the dangers of the Yellow Brick Road after the Wicked Witch crashes the celebration. Packed with high-fashion aesthetics, explosive blue-diamond wand fireworks, and a soulful, show-stopping soundtrack, The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's is a bold, comedic, and modern reimagining of L. Frank Baum’s classic 1900 tale.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ GIVE HER THE OSCAR, THE GRAMMY, AND A WHOLE ARMY OF TROPHIES! Review by Jaxson (Entertainment Weekly Top Critic / Film Historian) "Let's be completely honest: The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's is the biggest cinematic event of the decade, but the real headline here is Loretta Robinson. At just 18 years old, she didn’t just play the Good Witch of the South; she put on an absolute masterclass and changed Hollywood forever. The industry needs to prepare an absolute army of awards for this girl because she deserves to sweep every single ceremony on earth. First of all, give her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress immediately. Her screen presence is purely electric. The moment she arrives on that train platform in that jaw-dropping 14-pound iridescent lavender-blue gown, she commands the screen like a seasoned Hollywood legend. Her performance is sharp, high-fashion, and effortlessly funny—especially when she pulls that ultimate boss move, shooting bright blue fireworks from her blue-diamond wand to blast the Wicked Witch away from Dorothy. And that exit line? 'Somewhere over the rainbow' followed by vanishing into glittering lavender dust? It’s the single most iconic scene of the year. But don’t stop at the Oscars. Hand her the Grammy Award for the soundtrack, too! Her vocals on the grand opening song 'Welcome to Ha's' and the soulful, post-credits duet 'Leaving Ha's' are flawless. She has the kind of powerhouse, show-stopping voice that leaves you with actual goosebumps. If this movie gets adapted for television or a Broadway stage later down the line, she is going to secure the Emmy and Tony easily. She is on a fast track to becoming the youngest EGOT winner in history! Loretta Robinson made history as a young Black woman entirely on her own terms, completely redefining a classic character with unmatched diva energy, perfect cherry lipgloss, and sheer talent. The critics are unanimous: build an entire army of trophies and send them straight to her house. An absolute star is born!"
