CARO Vapor II is an exercise in imagination and a redefinition of what Brazilian popular music can be nowadays. From Rio’s samba jazz transported to the streets of Conjunto São Pedro in Fortaleza to Baião meeting the productions of the Neptunes, the artist understands old musical proposals as dreams of possible futures, pillars in the construction of a country whose work remains unfinished. Digging through these ruins and working their echoes in the present, he dares to envision another future. The exercises of imagining the past that haunt us have been exhumed and rebuilt. While this unfolds sonically, Don L’s pen reinforces: the Global South is what matters. Don scrutinizes the aspirations of what it means to be Latin American nowadays, in a world where virtually all experiences are heavily filtered by the internet and those in power. Territorial construction is also mental, provoking the listener by repeating, in new terms, the question: how much of your dreams was advertising?

This 1979 documentary depicts the daily life of gangs in the South Bronx. It deals primarily with two African American and Puerto Rican gangs known as the "Savage Skulls" and the "Savage Nomads".

In 1846, Anthony Hope sails into London with the mysterious Sweeney Todd, a once-naive barber whose life and marriage was uprooted by a corrupt justice system. Todd confides in Nellie Lovett, the owner of a local meat pie shop, and the two become partners, as Todd swears revenge on those that have wronged him and decides to take up his old profession.

The story of Freda Kelly, a shy Liverpudlian teenager asked to work for a young local band hoping to make it big: The Beatles. Their loyal secretary from beginning to end, Freda tells her tales for the first time in 50 years.

Jake, a teenager who lives to play Magic the Gathering, heads to the local comic book shop one Saturday to try his hand at the latest tournament. There he finds a wide variety of characters including a Vampire the Masquerade enthusiast, a bumbling nerd down on his luck, and a pair of battling rappers, all there to take the top prize. Jake must gather his strength and use his training to win the day, although his true reward may not be what he expects. Be ready for puppets and singing.

Set in Rural Iran, this musical tale of love and fantasy revolves around Davood, a ten-year-old theatre kid, who finds himself torn between familial expectations and artistic aspirations, as he is forced to act as a gamekeeper during the night, shouting and sacring away wild boars from his father’s land, while practicing a musical play during the day.

For Game 7 of the Finals, key moments of the CBC's broadcast are incorporated into the video, as with an average audience of 4.957 million viewers, it was the highest-rated single CBC Sports program in history until the 10.6 million viewers for the men's ice hockey gold medal game between Canada and the United States at the 2002 Winter Olympics, when Canada won its first Olympic ice hockey gold medal since the 1952 Winter Olympics (the women's ice hockey gold medal game at the Salt Lake City Olympics was also between Canada and the United States and won by Canada, but that game drew only 4.54 million). Ends with final assessment on the Stanley Cup Finals by Bob Cole and Harry Neale on the CBC.

Brass and percussion blend with dramatic choreography, brilliant lighting and special effects to create a new genre of performance in BLAST! Its performers move constantly, staging intricate movements to classical, symphonic, Broadway and popular music.Taped at the London Apollo Hammersmith Theatre in April 2000, BLAST! musical highlights include Ravel's "Bolero," Copland's "Appalachian Spring," and Chuck Mangione's "Land of Make Believe."

It's 1967 and British pop sensations Norman's Normans have accidentally blasted off a rocket from the British Space Agency and landed on a planet of all women. A verité portrait of Jonas Mekas making his daily rounds, JONAS shows us the underground impresario attending a peace rally, filming in Central Park, typing up notes at the Village Voice and projecting his latest rushes at the Film-Makers' Cooperative. A true New Yorker, Mekas seems to be everywhere at once, always with a Bolex camera slung over his shoulder. In detailing these routines, director Gideon Bachmann comes away with a striking time capsule of a city bent on art.
