Whizzy is a little mouse, Whitebelly is a fox. They are naturally mortal enemies. One day, after an unfortunate accident, both meet in animal heaven. Together, they will embark on a fantastic journey and discover friendship can overcome everything.

To help him he has his dreadful witches in his castle and his almost unstoppable sorcery. A giant under his control abducts the princess, but on the way home with her the giant meets farming lad Jack who slays him. This is only the beginning.

A "fairy" who owns a toy store gives toys to good children who can pay for them on New Year's. The little boy Francesco really wants a train called "The Blue Arrow" but has no money, so the toys decide to step in. Based on "La freccia azzurra" by Italian writer Gianni Rodari.
