The Animals of Farthing Wood is an animated series created by the European Broadcasting Union between 1992 and 1995 and based on the series of books written by Colin Dann. It was produced by Telemagination, based in London, and La Fabrique, based in Montpellier in France, but also aired in other European countries. The first countries to air the series were Germany and the United Kingdom, in January 1993.

Wu Xin returned to Hangzhou from Xisha after two adventures. He planned to recuperate, when he gets a sudden call from someone he hand't seen for a long time. Lao Xie invites Wu Xie to go on a adventure after telling him the story of the hinterland of Qingling Mountain.

The Animated Series' main protagonist is Pampalini - a brave but clumsy Animal Hunter who is determined to catch some wild beasts (or not so much). Although he hasn't caught a single one yet he's still trying to do so. Maybe next time...

The Phoenix and the Carpet is an eight-part British miniseries based on E. Nesbit's 1904 fantasy novel of the same name. Produced by the BBC, it aired from 29 December 1976 to 16 February 1977. Four Edwardian children find a strange egg in their newly-arrived Persian carpet. It hatches into a Phoenix bird that grants wishes and also transforms the rug into a magic carpet, which takes them on a series of adventures all over the world and at home.

Five heroes are brought together by their mutual love of questing, picnics and frolicking.
