Pig me is the story about a pig that escapes from a slaughter house. He finds his way to a pet shop and discovers the nice and warmth atmosphere between the costumers and the animals getting bought. He also wants to get bought, but he realizes that nobody wants to buy a pig. The only solution he can find to that problem is to dress up as the other animals in the pet shop.

Back in 1987, CGI was still relatively new. Pixar had only produced three shorts by that time and they tended to be extremely simple. And, such projects took years and were still created using massive mainframe computers--as PCs were not fast enough or complex enough to do this sort of work. And, most importantly, rendering software had to be created by anyone wanting to do such work. It was a very primitive time for the most primitive sort of CGI, this short film is an animation that was used to demonstrate the new physics of the polygon animation.

Roberto Soto is a renowned Spanish science fiction screenwriter. He has won a Goya award and his screenplays are internationally acknowledged. However, his producer is tired of science fiction and believes that, in Spain, he has to write films of different genres, something more intellectual and existential: social dramas, enriching values, philosophy, etc. With these arguments, the producer demands him a screenplay that has nothing to do with science fiction. As a result, Roberto has to decide whether to write what he's good at and was born for, or to do what he has been told. Roberto is forced into resigning and doing what he is paid to do: he locks himself in the living room with his typewriter in order to write a screenplay according to what is expected, with the urgency of the producer's visit, who wants to check up on his work. The formal name of the peep show machine was the Mutoscope -- at least when it was manufactured by the American Mutoscope & Biograph Company, which later became simply "Biograph" and is best remembered for the films directed by D.W. Griffith with G.W. "Billy" Bitzer as him cameraman. At this point, however, Griffith was a struggling stage actor and Bitzer was a leading cameraman for Biograph. This meant that he did all sorts of movies, including peep shows, and this is one of them. The title tells all and the show shows a lot as a woman exposes a shapely limb and is punished for her flouting of decent behavior.

In a quiet store the sound of the door announces the arrival of a customer.

In an amateur soccer match, the referee kicks out the goalkeeper. A very special fan will animate the substitute the rest of the game.

At the bench, the coach and three reserve players, including a sleepy goalkeeper. The game is about to start. Our team needs to win. The coach paces nervously and relays instructions to the players on the field... But the coach's attention to the ongoing game is repeatedly interrupted by family members, from the youngest to the oldest, who come one by one to remember him that a significant family gathering is about to take place and that his presence is needed. The coach is reluctant to leave the field on account of the importance of winning this game. What is this important gathering? Are his priorities proper?

Once upon a time: a return, a town, a dead person, a family ... and a story.

The main action in this film is the pair of people falling gently from the sky. We never see their final impact, or even how they come to be falling in the first place, but we are privy to the reactions, or lack there of, from all the by-standers below.
