The Hidden One

Two stories are told of virgin girls who, while studying at university, fall in love with their teacher. But both stories will not have the same outcome.

A man is wrongfully convicted for murder and begins to search for a way to escape his hellish prison.

After being caught embezzling from his clinic to impress his high society lover and support his gambling habit, a doctor flees to a remote Indian village to volunteer as a humanitarian aid worker. There he tries to mitigate the onslaught of a strange disease called "Amok," while his past continues to haunt him.

A lost film. As described in a film magazine Exhibitors Herald on March 16, 1918: "a forest ranger known only as Headin' South (Fairbanks) goes forth in search of Spanish Joe (Campeau), a Mexican responsible for most of the treachery and outlawry along the U.S.-Mexican boarder. Headin' South gains quite a reputation as he goes along and finally believes himself worthy of joining Joe's band. in a whirlwind finish in which Joe is captured, Headin' South meets one of Joe's near victims (MacDonald) and falls in love with her."

Beloved Mother

Confederate Col. Lafe Harvey (Earl Ross) travels home after the Civil War, where he must tell his niece, Betty (Frances Grant), that her father is presumed dead. Soon after he returns, scavengers destroy the family home and he and Betty escape westward. Meanwhile, Gen. John Harvey (William Welch), Betty's father, has been seriously injured but is not dead. He arrives at the deserted plantation with the help of Union soldier Tom (Bob Steele), who then pledges to help John find his family
