In the traditional carnival of the small town called Las Tablas, there are two rival streets: Up Street and Down Street. A young couple, after an unexpected encounter at the airport, fall hopelessly in love.

The story of a music band from the sixties who wants to succeed in music in the style of Richard Lester films. There are two parallel plots: one is the love story between the singer Juan Erasmo 'Mochi' and Elena, a middle-class girl who has studied in Madrid and moved to Paris to work and to learn French. The other half of the film corresponds to 'Micky y Los Tonys', and especially to the wild Micky.

On the other hand, this destroys his short-term memory - and he forgets that he already has a girlfriend...

While their couple is falling apart, Baptiste and Violette, two students, discover a new passion that may revive their relationship: murder. Yet, it is not sure that Gabriel and Madeleine, their Catholic and puritan friends, are going to approve this process...
