When timid bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss discovers a magical mask containing the spirit of the Norse god Loki, his entire life changes. Unfortunately, under the mask's influence, Ipkiss also robs a bank, which angers junior crime lord Dorian Tyrell, whose goons get blamed for the heist.

Having just met at a party, Siobhan brings back Greg to her flat for what might be a night of of unbridled passion. Greg really thinks his luck's in but things don't go quite according to plan as he doesn't account for Siobhan's pet dog putting a spanner in the works when it attacks him. Forced to defend himself Greg seemingly kills his beautiful hosts beloved pet and in attempting to cover up it's demise the night descends in to a chaotic night of misunderstood intentions which neither will ever forget...that's if either lives to remember it.

Len Lye scraped together enough funding and borrowed equipment to produce a two-minute short featuring his self-made monkey, singing and dancing to 'Peanut Vendor', a 1931 jazz hit for Red Nichols. The two foot high monkey had bolted, moveable joints and some 50 interchangeable mouths to convey the singing. To get the movements right, Lye filmed his new wife, Jane, a prize-winning rumba dancer.
