Secret Agent Woody Woodpecker

A lost baby woodpecker, that believes Jerry is its mother, does everything it can to save the mouse from Tom, who is once again in pursuit. A CinemaScope remake of the 1949 Tom and Jerry cartoon Hatch Up Your Troubles.

Tom is golfing, but having no success. Jerry insures that remains the case.

A bandit and his horse find out that a big shipment of gold bullion is being shipped by train, so they make immediate plans to hijack it. As fate would have it, Woody Woodpecker is the train's guard.

A woodpecker (Woody) repeatedly pecks the roof of Andy Panda's and his father's home. Daddy sets out to stop it.

Woody Woodpecker spends his day singing loudly and pecking holes in trees. He infuriates the other woodland creatures - when he isn't baffling them with his bizarre behavior. Woody overhears a squirrel and a group of birds gossiping about him. Even though he just sang a song proclaiming his craziness, he denies their whispered accusations that he's nuts. But after they trick him into knocking his head on a statue, the poor bird hears voices in his head and decides the animals might be right. He decides to see a psychiatrist.

Woody Woodpecker goes out to dine and accidentally stumbles into a taxidermist's shop, thinking it is a restaurant. The taxidermist, wanting a woodpecker to stuff, doesn't inform Woody otherwise.

A baby woodpecker mistakes Jerry for his mother. The mouse rejects the newly hatched bird but soon finds himself protecting it against his feline nemesis, Tom.

A villain rides into town on a horse in the old West. Woody Woodpecker is hanging out the man's Wanted posters. The villain's horse pleads with Woody to turn the louse in so that they can split the reward.

After a storm strands them on a deserted island, Woody Woodpecker and his wolf friend end up battling themselves in a quest to find food.

Out of work, Woody complains about his not having any living quarters. A slick talking con man convinces him to buy some "magic beans" promising they will guarantee him a home. Sure enough, Woody climbs the resulting beanstalk and finds a huge castle at the top. Unfortunately, the castle is already occupied by a sleeping giant who Woody eventually outwits, turning his castle into a series of apartments with the giant as a bellboy and Woody as his manager.

Woody Woodpecker reads in his newspaper that quail hunting season begins the next morning at 5a.m. Not wanting to pass up quail hunting, he determines to get a good night's sleep. There are challenges.

Dowager steps out to purchase a toy for her son. Woody Woodpecker, peering around the corner of the building, pictures a luxurious future in a home as she would have to offer, so he quickly steps out and imitates the walking toy.

Woody Woodpecker tries to watch his favorite TV quiz show - which is constantly interrupted by commercials.

The Miracle Telephone Company attempts to stop Woody Woodpecker from pecking holes in its telephone poles.

Woody Woodpecker is running a babysitting service and is offered $50 by a couple if he will look after their baby. Woody jumps at the chance. Unfortunately, turns out the baby is an infant gorilla!

The evil king is busy counting his money. Woody Woodpecker and his Merry Men are dancing in Sherwood Forest. The old king's tax money comes up short because of Woody and his men.

An elderly, suicidal Woody Woodpecker reminisces about his life as a woodpecker, as his ability to peck wood has vanished, leaving his life seemingly without energy.

Woody Woodpecker gallops into a wild western town, which can't keep a sheriff very long due to the notorious outlaw (and sheriff-killer) Buzz Buzzard. Woody volunteers for the position but barely has time to shine up his badge before Buzz rides in with intent to do harm to Sheriff Woody. But Woody has no intentions of allowing Buzz to follow through on his intents.

For a chance at free food at a barn dance, Woody Woodpecker dresses as a girl to fool ticket taker Wally Walrus.

It's St. Valentine's Day. Cupid is having fun arranging, while a young devil is making mischief sabotaging, love affairs.
