Florence Foresti lets loose on stage at La Cigale in Paris, performing with total confidence. She brings to life a gallery of sharp and hilarious characters. Drawing on the trivialities of everyday life, the comedian exposes human flaws and turns them into sparkling, unexpected situations. From waking up next to a stranger after a Saturday night out, to a compulsive liar bragging about a fake love story, and a hysterical actress, she wraps up her show by taking aim at a plastic pop idol. The immaturity of men and the frivolity of women are among her favorite themes.

Without shame, she does not hesitate to lay herself bare and talk about the flaws, the differences and the oddities that spice up her life and those around her. Apparently Korine grew up in a home for the elderly and it colored her life; his family takes photos at funeral homes; and, in all her splendor, she sleeps with an occlusal plate. It later played at Berkeley Repertory before opening on Broadway in October at Studio 54. The show takes audiences on a comic tour of Fisher's messy personal life and career. The actress-writer recounts stories about her work on the "Star Wars" series as well as her relationship with her parents Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. She also discusses her much-publicized problems with alcohol and drugs.
