A Cossack once stood on the shore and looked at the water, trying to catch a mermaid. But she took his reflection and went away with the man’s the soul. The mermaid fell in love with the reflection and did not want to let him go back to the land. What should the Cossack do? And how will mermaid fight the evil and harmful monster that inhabits the sea bottom and tries to lure her?

Gestalt was shot over the course of a year in a Tokyo dormitory. Each day, Ishida would paint on the wall and photograph it using the available light from the window. The 7-minute long film, which is accompanied by haunting organ music composed by J.S. Bach, consists of those several seconds of film Ishida shot daily.

Mieke is being harassed by an inexplicable phenomenon. She is having nightmares and her children are acting strange. For no apparent reason her mother appears, after a long period without any contact. She tries to warn Mieke for impending doom. Has it something to do with the doll that one of her sons got for his birthday? Mieke makes a discovery, a very dark one. Something that will turn her life upside down.

Tripping through a trunkful of memories

Two burglars release dozens of cats into a neighbourhood and start the dogs barking. They use the din to their advantage and dig up a bag of loot. However, the situation snowballs and turns into the worst night the burglars ever spent.

Under the starlight, a boy and a girl are running. A thunderstorm breaks out, trees are shattered, and a rain of silver needles turned into hair floats through the air.

A boring commuter fantasises about his sex life; when he gets home he is too exhausted to make love to his sexy wife.

Prelude 14 begins in deep brilliant red which darkens into deeper reds and lavender shapes, disrupted by a variety of colors settling into browns and grays and shapes most rock-like, all of which is then shot-thru with sufficient yellow to break up all hard-edge form and give a molten aspect to the mixtures of shapes.

'Cropped' tells the story of a group of UFO enthusiasts on the hunt for proof of extraterrestrial existence at the site of one of rural Britain's mysterious crop circles. As events unfold and night falls, the group are forced to set their differences aside when the mystery of the crop circles is revealed.

Weighing themselves on a penny machine, the Our Gang kids receive a fortune card predicting that they will receive "unexpected riches." Acting upon this, the kids decide to dig for buried treasure, using a fraudulent map provided by one of their wise-guy acquaintances.

The film is about the behavior of people in a state of boring expectation.

In Paul Grimault's satire of the arms trade, the dealer is alerted to the breakout of war by a signal on his map, so travels in turn to each of two warring countries (his journey is traced for us on the map), selling to each the means of destroying its neighbour. —The Cine-Tourist
