Terrance gets beaten up by Buck every Thursday the 12th. No big big deal, except this Thursday the 12th he's got to meet his girlfriend's parents, so he has to figure out a way to turn his luck around before it's too late.

When a young boy makes a wish at a carnival machine to be big—he wakes up the following morning to find that it has been granted and his body has grown older overnight. But he is still the same 13-year-old boy inside. Now he must learn how to cope with the unfamiliar world of grown-ups including getting a job and having his first romantic encounter with a woman.

The story follows a group of baseball players who after having quit playing baseball are reunited by fate after enrolling in the same high school. At the time the school did not have a baseball team, so the group who have previously faced off against each other throughout the years form a team and start playing once again, reviving their passion for the sport.
