A biology professor travels to his family's country house to focus on his research, but a mysterious figure imposes itself on his plans and turns his experience into an endless nightmare.

Raoul Duke and his attorney Dr. Gonzo drive a red convertible across the Mojave desert to Las Vegas with a suitcase full of drugs to cover a motorcycle race.
