A gang of bikers headed by the cool-headed and arrogant Kabir is on a robbing spree in Mumbai. ACP Jai Dixit is put in charge of the case and he recruits a bumbling bike mechanic and racer to help Jai nab them.

DCP DeSilva sees a way to bring to justice the feared head of a criminal empire by recruiting a man named Vijay, who looks exactly like the crime boss. The ruse works too well, and soon Vijay finds his life in danger when DeSilva, the only one who knows his true identity, dies.

Rajan Mathur (Anil Kapoor) is a Professor in Urdu literature in Dr. Zakir Hussain's College. He resides in Chandni Chowk with his activist wife, Roma Mathur (Shefali Shah). Professor Mathur comes across a young boy called Numair Qazi (Anurag Sinha) who introduces himself as a victim of communal riots in Gujarat.

The story is about a priest, Father Ferriera, who unwittingly becomes a witness to the rape and murder of a village woman by the rich man of the village, Chandulal Seth. Father Ferriera is framed for the crime by Chandulal Seth and is sent to the jail instead. During the jail time spent Father Ferriera develops a good friendship with some of the jail mates. On release from the jail, he along with his former jail mates decide on taking revenge with Chandulal Seth who is now one of the richest jewelers of the world.

A real-life story of additional chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill who helped in the rescue of people when a coal mine in Raniganj, West Bengal, was flooded. The incident dates back to 1989.

Gorgeous looking Anju Khanna lives in a palatial home with her dad, and mom. Her dad, R.K.Khanna has been having labor problems at his workplace, due to a headstrong union leader named Shanker, who wants better housing and benefits for all workers, and failing which, he has declared an indefinite strike. Her dad would like her to marry Laxmikant alias Lucky Gupta, but Anju does not like him. She has met and has fallen in love with a dashing young man named Raja Singh Rathod.
