Haruka Nanase's new stage to take on the world is Sydney – a place he once visited, a place of dreams. The story follows a group of baseball players who after having quit playing baseball are reunited by fate after enrolling in the same high school. At the time the school did not have a baseball team, so the group who have previously faced off against each other throughout the years form a team and start playing once again, reviving their passion for the sport.

48x61 is a short movie made by the famous director Rintaro (Astro Boy, Metropolis, ...) for the Japanese manga artist and director Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira, Mushishi, ...). It was produced by Studio Madhouse. This movie was made when Rintaro was 61 years old and Katsuhiro 48 years old. Hence the title. Main characters in this movie are Rintarou and Katsuhiro. The story is about a bicycle race between the two them.
