Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu is a 1986 Malayalam comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. Starring Mohanlal, Mukesh, Lizy, Sreenivasan, Jagathi Sreekumar, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Kuthiravattam Pappu in the main roles. This film was a huge hit in theaters and is considered as one of the best comedy films in Malayalam cinema.

He tells of his orphan upbringing, career as a forest official, and love for a young woman named Thulasi, whom he promised he'd marry, before he was erroneously arrested for a crime he did not commit.

Vivek, a talented dancer and singer, meets Kavitha during one of his performances and takes a liking to her. She is the sister of Dr Rajagopal. When Vivek's sister marries a police inspector and Vivek comes to know that they are searching for a house for rent, he manages to get the house opposite Rajagopal's in order to meet Kavitha. After several meetings their love blossoms.
