Three young men boycott their fiancées following a dispute between them and them, in an attempt to live without women. They think that by doing so they can live a life full of freedom and enjoy everything, but this life is not right and human nature overpowers them.

For Jane White, life itself is a television program, and she dreams of becoming a star on the small screen. Convincing herself that Gerry King, a popular talk show host, is her birth father, she sets out on an adventurous road trip — aided by her equally looney boyfriend, Dick — to confront her "father" on the air, and, just maybe, make a splash on reality television.

Sid Gibson is a soap powder salesman who decides what he really needs is TV advertising. The problem is, he's absolutely broke. He calls upon his friend Arthur Ashton, who arranges to sneak a plug for Sid's suds into a live TV spectacular. The public goes bananas for the product but to maintain sales Sid and Arthur must arrange for ever more outrageous plugs on TV shows. The Ascots races, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo - no show is safe.

When Curly accidentally destroys the mummy, Moe and Larry wrap him in bandages to fool the bad guys. They manage to rescue the professor and retrieve the real mummy of Rootin-Tootin who turns out to have been a midget.

Miranda Wells is an attorney with a sideline in immigration fraud and murder. Miranda's assistant, Carla, is unaware of her criminal activities. Carla is attacked and her husband murdered, Miranda is the chief suspect. As the investigation progresses and Carla disappears from hospital, it is clear that Miranda will stop at nothing including murdering again to stay out.
