Biography

Audra Ann McDonald is an American actress and singer. Primarily known for her work on the Broadway stage, she has won six Tony Awards, more performance wins than any other actor, and is the only person to win in all four acting categories. She has performed in musicals, operas, and dramas such as A Moon for the Misbegotten, 110 in the Shade, Carousel, Ragtime, Master Class, and Porgy and Bess. In addition to her six Tony Awards, she has received numerous accolades including two Grammy Awards and an Emmy Award. She was honored with the National Medal of Arts in 2016 from President Barack Obama and was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 2017.

Robert James Gronkowski (born May 14, 1989, ht. 6'6"), nicknamed "Gronk", is a former American football player (tight end) who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. He played nine seasons for the New England Patriots and finished his career with two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is a four-time Super Bowl champion (XLIX, LI, LIII, LV), a five-time Pro Bowl selection, and a four-time First Team All-Pro selection, and was selected in the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team and NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.

Tenaya Cleveland

Biography

Tenaya Cleveland was born in Hawaii, and grew up in California. As a child, she sang in the Malcolm X Jazz Chorus (led by jazz pianist Dick Whittington, who enlisted jazz greats such as Bobby Hutcherson, Mary Stallings and Richie Cole to play & sing with the kids at concerts). At 10, she made her public acting debut as "The Kid" in the play "Bleacher Bums". After years of acting in theater, background work and small independent films, she landed a small role on HBO's acclaimed Six Feet Under (2001). Ms. Cleveland is a supporter of animal and human rights, and the environment. These passions drew her to work behind the scenes on Josh Tickell's multi-award-winning documentary, Fuel (2008), which won the prestigious Audience Award at Sundance Film Festival. Director Ambika Leigh, also a close friend, cast Cleveland as the lead in her dramatic short film, "Watching" followed by a quirky supporting role in her multi-award-winning short, Switchboard (2011). Soon after filming Switchboard, Tenaya toured the U.S. playing a triple-character role in the live comedy, "The Moderns." She was then discovered by the Emmy-winning director Fran Burst-Terranella, and cast as the pill-popping artist, Rosemary Cross in the feature film, The 12 Lives of Sissy Carlyle (2017) In between shooting scenes for Sissy Carlyle, Cleveland appeared in small roles on the TV shows Drop Dead Diva (2009) and Doktor D (2011). She was then cast in multiple episodes of The Haves and the Have Nots (2013), created and directed by Tyler Perry She has also appeared in the Funny or Die web series, "The Drunks." Ms. Cleveland has pursued her career from San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, GA. She has authored articles on subjects such as acting and independent filmmaking, and moderated / served on panels for the Atlanta Film Festival in 2014 & 2015.

Peter Capaldi

Biography

Peter Dougan Capaldi (born April 14, 1958) is a Scottish actor, writer and director. He portrayed the twelfth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who and Malcolm Tucker the spin doctor in The Thick of It, for which he has received four British Academy Television Award nominations, winning Best Male Comedy Performance in 2010. When he reprised the role in In the Loop, Capaldi was honoured with several film critic award nominations for Best Supporting Actor. In 2012, Capaldi wrote (with Tony Roche), directed and performed in The Cricklewood Greats, an affectionate spoof documentary about a fictitious film studio, which tracks real developments and trends throughout the history of British cinema. Film roles include Oldsen in Local Hero, Angus Flint in Ken Russell's The Lair of the White Worm, and Mr Curry in Paddington and its sequel, Paddington 2. As a director, Capaldi won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film and the BAFTA Award for Best Short Film for his short film Franz Kafka's It's a Wonderful Life. He went on to write and direct the drama film Strictly Sinatra and helmed two series of sitcom Getting On. Lee Horsley

Biography

Lee Arthur Horsley is an American film, television, and theater actor known for starring roles in the television series Nero Wolfe, Matt Houston, and Paradise. He starred in the 1982 film The Sword and the Sorcerer and recorded the audiobook edition of Lonesome Dove. Horsley began his acting career touring in stage productions of West Side Story, Damn Yankees, and Oklahoma!. In 1981, he portrayed TV detective Archie Goodwin in the short-lived NBC drama series Nero Wolfe. He played the title character in the detective series Matt Houston, as well as Ethan Allen Cord in the Western Heritage Award-winning series Paradise. This was followed by a lead role on Bodies of Evidence. He appeared in the feature-length cult film The Sword and the Sorcerer in 1982, and appeared in its sequel Tales of an Ancient Empire in 2010. He recorded the audiobook edition of Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove. In 2006, Horsley and Marshall R. Teague traveled the world in search of exotic game on the Outdoor Life Network for the reality show, Benelli's Dream Hunts. In 2012. he appeared in the Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained, as Sheriff Gus, and also has a role as a stagecoach driver in Tarantino's 2015 western The Hateful Eight.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. Carroll Nye

Biography

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Robert Carroll Nye (October 4, 1901 – March 17, 1974) was an American film actor. He appeared in 58 films between 1925 and 1944. His mother, Myra Nye, worked for the Los Angeles Times. Carroll was educated at the University of California and later became a reporter and radio editor with the Times like his mother. However, he went into film business in 1924. At the beginning of his career he had a score of leading man roles in Hollywood opposite such silent screen stars as Anita Page and Corinne Griffith. In his late career, he played usually small roles, perhaps most memorably as Frank Kennedy, Scarlett's second husband, in Gone with the Wind (1939). His film career ended in 1944 with an uncredited role in Wilson. Nye also worked with Groucho Marx at CBS. After his film career, Nye served as a Hollywood newscaster and publicity man. He was married to actress Helen Lynch since 1928, but the marriage ended in divorce. He later married a woman named Dorothy, mentioned on his gravestone at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills. His brother was respected Hollywood makeup artist Ben Nye.

She played a recurring character in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and currently stars as Awkwafina's grandmother on Comedy Central's Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens (2020–present). Chinn began her acting career on Broadway, where she played Miss Higa Jiga in Lovely Ladies, Kind Gentlemen (1970). Shelley Winters (born Shirley Schrift; August 18, 1920 – January 14, 2006) was an American actress whose career spanned almost six decades. She appeared in numerous films, and won Academy Awards for The Diary of Anne Frank (1959) and A Patch of Blue (1965), and received nominations for A Place in the Sun (1951) and The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Other roles Winters appeared in include A Double Life (1947), The Night of the Hunter (1955), Lolita (1962), Alfie (1966), Next Stop, Greenwich Village (1976), and Pete's Dragon (1977). Sarwat Gilani is an alumna of the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture in Pakistan.
