In 1932 Harlem, aspiring jazz trumpeter Ethel Franklin struggles to get her foot in the door. Dejected after another fruitless night, an opportunity arises to prove herself as the greatest. Upon receiving his draft notice and leaving his family ranch in Oklahoma, Claude heads to New York and befriends a tribe of long-haired hippies on his way to boot camp.

Ryan, Kevin and the crew go into hiding where they meet an underground b-boy legend...
