Incest! The Musical

A young man follows a pretty girl into her office, which turns out to be a musical dentist office. Cute chorus girls attend to the many male customers, and the girl the young man was following is revealed to be the dentist. She gives the young man anesthetic gas and he dreams the dentist and her troupe of nurses are dancing on the ceiling.

In 1960, American dancer and actor Gene Kelly created for the Paris Opera Ballet an original choreography that was highly acclaimed at the time, yet rarely performed thereafter; a genius work that the Scottish Ballet, accompanied by the stirring and evocative score by composer and pianist George Gershwin, epitome of orchestral jazz, brings back to life sixty years later.

In the winter of 2022, Lim Young-woong's encore concert 'IM HERO' heated up the atmosphere at Gocheok Sky Dome. To replicate the touching experience of the epic finale, IM HERO THE FINAL will come to cinemas on ScreenX in 2023 to meet the audience. Markku Lehmuskallio has devoted a large part of his documentary work to the indigenous people of the Arctic Circle. In this latest film, co-directed with his son Johannes Lehmuskallio, he composes a fascinating poetic ethnography inspired by the singing, dancing, forms of contemporary existence and, above all, the vital breath of these nomad communities mistreated by History.

The dead and the skeletons, coming out of the ground, indulge in playful dance to the music of Camille Saint-Saëns, and rejoice in the terror that they inspire.

As in the classic fable, the grasshopper plays his fiddle and lives for the moment, while the industrious ants squirrel away massive amounts of food for the winter. With his song, he's able to convince at least one small ant until the queen arrives and scares him back to work. The queen warns the grasshopper of the trouble he'll be in, come winter. Winter comes, and the grasshopper, near starvation, stumbles across the ants, who are having a full-on feast in their snug little tree. They take him in and warm him up. A sentient robot is sent to leave the Earth to find a new home for humanity - finding its place as it prepares to leave the planet. This short film tackles themes of finding your place of belonging and purpose. Among the Stars: Terra Firma is a collaboration between trumpeter and media composer Ethan McInerney and animator Dean de Barros, reflecting on their pursuits to find their place in the world.

Shot on July 23, 1968, this historical 16mm footage of Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention at Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, CA has been newly restored from the Vault! The film has been newly synced to the 2023 mixes, marking the first time it's ever been seen with audio. Frank Zappa never had the opportunity to see this footage synced to the music. Now you do. The film was shot in increments and features silent performance footage of The Mothers along with scenes involving The Freaks and the premier of The GTO's (Girls Together Outrageously). In the audience were Flo & Eddie (The Turtles), John Mayall, Elliot Ingber (The Fraternity Of Man), Alice Cooper and members of the Rolling Stones.

Moses und Aron was filmed for television by film director François-René Martin, in co-production with the Paris Opera, Bel air Media and Arte, with support from the CNC.
