Second Hand Husband

A married couple Nisha Mathur and her husband Dilip Mathur, purchase a hotel in a scenic locale. In the beginning, no one comes to stay there, however, the hotel soon attracts several young couples; an ex-convict, who possesses some dark secrets out of Nisha's past; a police inspector who warns people against staying in this hotel; and a journalist Lisa. And then one by one people start turning up dead, brutally killed, by person(s) unknown. What is the secret behind this hotel?

When Shivaji and his family and the entire community of his village are one day forced to leave Pakistan, he is separated from his beloved mother, who once adopted him, while fleeing to India. Having grown into a respectable and feared man a few years later, Shivaji now sets out in search of his next of kin. But he also stands up for the rights of his people who are forced into forced labor by an exploiter and devotes his whole life to this task, which is why he is henceforth referred to as 'Chatrapathi'.

When Ajay (Sunil Dutt) meets Asha (Asha Parekh), he mistakenly believes she's wealthy. The fact that she's not, however, doesn't prevent him from becoming smitten, and the couple soon marries with the full blessings of Ajay's family. Poverty is one thing, though, and childlessness quite another -- which Asha finds out the hard way. When she fails to produce an heir for the clan posthaste, her mother-in-law begins a search for her replacement.

Will Lucky ever come to know of his real mother? Will Vishal ever to able to ride again? Will Jyoti and Vishal patch up their differences in the interest of their son?

After being released from prison, reckless criminal Balwant (Ranjeet) sets out to recover a treasure map concealed in a diamond ring, only to have his ruthless ways result in the tragic death of his wife. Upon reaching there, he becomes engaged to Bollywood actress Jyoti (suchitra Krishnamurthy), and starts gambling and drinking. Nikita moves to Bombay and finds Ajay, a ruined young man. Together they must try to set his life right, so that he can fulfill the promise he made to his brother.

India's capital Delhi is the center-point of this story, depicted as a degenerate and corrupt city with Members of Parliament with big criminal rap sheets, ruling the roost, transferring or killing honest police officers, promotion their own corrupt cops, openly collecting weekly bribes (haftas) from local businesses, pimps, prostitutes ET AL, even openly holding an auction for bidders to bid for areas for black-marketing purposes. Lala Khurana is the uncrowned king of Delhi and he runs it with the help of a Member of Parliament, & the Director General of Police. His advocate Chintamani Chaubey wants him to contest the next elections, ensuring his win, and making his own laws, appointing his own police officers, who will do his bidding, carrying on without any checks and balance. Khurana likes this idea, but feels he is getting too old, but would like his son, Devendra Kumar, to run and be the next State Chief Minister.
