Captain Shebl Dorgham is in charge of security of a large event where the famous band, “The Four Cats”, perform at a hotel. A murder occurs during the performance and “The Four Cats” are the only witnesses. To protect them, Captain Shebl hides them at his uncle’s house in Imbaba and hilarious events ensue.

He falls in love with beautician (Kausha) by ignoring a village belle (Vidisha) who falls head over heel for him. The rest of the story is all about how he realizes the importance of love & relationships.

The “Theater der Freude” on the other side of town, on the other hand, is not doing well at all. The irredeemable ensemble of Kasper, Seppel, Gretel, Grandma, Svetlana and Bodo can no longer attract an audience. So Kasper devises a plan to kidnap Kalle and extort a ransom from Falkenhorst and Maulwurf to settle the outstanding bills.
