A woman sees the ceiling of her apartment begin to inexorably close in. She tries to escape, but her front door locks and her window is too high to jump. Panic ensues.

A woman carries a cat in a shopping bag that refuses to be petted. Tired of its behaviour, she violently strikes the bag repeatedly against a wall. Then, with the blood of the animal, she draws a heart pierced by an arrow.

A man's car somehow becomes completely autonomous and takes the powerless driver, to a scrap yard, or a 'cemetery for cars', where several more vehicles are waiting to be crushed by powerful reducing machines, their passengers still inside.

An ambulance heads towards the "crossroads of the crow's feet" in response to an accident. Unable to find the place, the driver stops at an intersection to ask for directions from a dull-eared local.

The goddess Diana and her two attendants traverse the rugged terrain of Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains in pursuit of the elusive wolf. An Engraver (Matthew Barney) furtively documents their actions in copper engravings and provokes a series of confrontations. The characters communicate through dance, letting movement replace language as they pursue each other and their prey.

A family lives in a house that teeters precariously on the very tip of a mountain. The balance of the house is affected not only by the family that lives inside, but also their cow, dog, cat, a passing bird, and a man with a couple of sheep who returns in a car. The slopes of the hill themselves also seem rather slippery at times.

In the Aysén region dwell a population of 90000 isolated souls sharing the harsh landscapes of an area about the size of England. The day-to-day images intermingle with a story of mythological aspect; that of the timeless quest for the Lost City of the Caesars, a city of gold built 500 years ago by the conquerors.

Bernard faces the stereotype of an animal predator, one you wouldn’t cross paths with. Feeling resigned, he tries to express the truth about his isolation, and suppress the call of nature in him.

The film is a stage play hybrid showcasing dark and absurd sketches based on contemporary Hungarian news of the 2000's with campy, senseless musical interludes in-between. Highly experimental in nature that - like Marmite - will split its' crowd into ones that'll love it and others that'll loathe it. There's no middle grounds here.
