The BBC Symphony Orchestra perform a live soundtrack in this premier stage adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes thriller.

The great violinist Salvatore Accardo with the Orchestra da Camera Italiana in a recital featuring Five Pieces by Fritz Kreisler, the pieces Milonga del Angel and Verano Porteño by Astor Piazzolla, and the Serenade in C Major Op. 48 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

The show features some great light and sound effects apart from the great music that Eagles is renowned for. The 'five-part' harmony song, "Hole in the World" elicits a great crowd participation with the audience providing a 'clap rhythm' as the band sings. The song "Life's Been Good" features some antics by Joe Walsh and Frey with them staging a mock rivalry on stage and the latter having a hearty laugh at the former. The song also features a 'helmet cam' session where the crowd gets to see what the camera on Walsh's helmet points at. Also, the songs "The Boys of Summer" and "Hotel California" feature the first officially documented use by the Eagles of a drum machine in a live performance; in particular, during "Hotel California", a pre-programmed track is used to simulate the muted guitar strums which provide a steady beat on the original studio recording of the song, and which are absent from all of the previous live performances of it.

In 2009, in celebration of her new album Love Is the Answer, Barbra Streisand announced she would perform one special concert at the Village Vanguard in New York City, New York. Streisand was backed by a quartet consisting of Tamir Hendelman (piano), Jeff Carney (bass), Brian Koonin (guitar) and Ray Marchica (drums). The audience included special guests and celebrity friends of Streisand such as Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Barry Diller and Diane von Fürstenberg, Rosie O'Donnell, Sandy Gallin, Frank Rich, Donna Karan, Lea Michele, and Nicole Kidman, as well as 100 competition winners.

Filmed during her North American concert tour in 2006, legendary vocalist Barbra Streisand captivates her audience with renditions of her best-loved hits, including "The Way We Were" and "People," as well as 14 songs that she's never before sung live, such as "Down With Love" and "Come Rain or Come Shine." Streisand is also joined by popular operatic quartet Il Divo on a night to remember.

A Happening in Central Park was performed and taped by video cameras on Saturday, June 17, 1967. The concert, sponsored by Rheingold Beer, and free to the public, was held in the Sheep Meadow section of New York City's Central Park. Barbra's television sponsor, Monsanto, captured the event on videotape for airing on CBS at a later date. Barbra took a weekend off from the filming of Funny Girl to perform the concert. On Friday night, June 16th, Barbra and crew rehearsed until very late. Many photos of Barbra in which she wears a headband were taken the evening of the dress rehearsal. (The cover of Barbra's A Christmas Album is actually a photo from the Friday night dress rehearsal in Central Park.) On that evening she tried on different gowns and worked with hairdresser Fred Glaser on alternate hairstyles. Director Robert Scheerer also worked out some of his camera blocking at the Friday night rehearsal. He utilized seven color video cameras to capture the concert.

Seether released an acoustic CD/DVD set titled One Cold Night, recorded on February 22, 2006, at Grape Street in Philadelphia. Morgan, who had been suffering from a stomach ailment, decided to do an acoustic performance of their set-list rather than cancel the show.

The film details an entire live performance from Devo's 1996 reunion tour with Lollapalooza, opening for Metallica. The band performs a stripped down set consisting of songs from their first three albums, filmed at Irvine Meadows, California.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club – Live In Paris was recorded at the Theatre Trianon on February 24, 2014, during BRMC's sold-out tour of Europe. The concert spans Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s entire history including favorites such as “Beat The Devil’s Tattoo”, “Spread Your Love”, and “Whatever Happened To My Rock ‘N’ Roll”.

Live & Loud is a live album recorded by then former Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne, released on 28 June 1993. At the time, it was to be Osbourne's final album following Osbourne's final tour before retiring, aptly titled "No More Tours". The track "Black Sabbath" featured the original line-up of Black Sabbath, the members of which were invited to join Ozzy as guest stars for the Costa Mesa Reunion shows. A DVD of Live & Loud was also issued, one of the very first music compilation released in that format. The DVD is a compilation of live footage from several shows rather than a single concert: this is evident as Osbourne can be seen both shirtless and wearing different clothes during the same song, while guitarist Zakk Wylde can be seen playing up to three different guitars in the same song.[2]

The full 2-hour performance of Liza's 2009 concert is available only as a part of this special collector's edition. This exciting midnight performance was recorded at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on October 1, 2009. Act One features favorite songs by Ms. Minnelli. Liza adds a new personal musical introduction to the fond remembrance of famous vaudevillians. Act Two is a very special tribute to Liza's godmother, Kay Thompson, a groundbreaking singer-dancer, songwriter, and vocal arranger/coach at the MGM Studios in the 1940s. This documentary captures Liza Minelli's award-winning 2009 Broadway concert that featured renditions of favorites from throughout her career. The setlist includes "Cabaret," "Liza," and "New York, New York."

KylieX2008 became Minogue's biggest and most expensive tour to date, travelling over four continents in the course of seven months with a crew of over 120 people. The film features the entire concert (shot in Super 16 format) along with a documentary, stage back-drop projections, conceptual designs, and a photo gallery.

Claudio Abbado conducted Beethoven’s symphonies on many occasions in the Philharmonie in Berlin. But only at the end of his tenure as chief conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker did he decide to give a performance of the complete symphonies. It was left to audiences of his native Italy to witness these concerts in February 2001 in the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
