In the West Bank, Area C is a Palestinian area surrounded by Israeli settlements. Facing poverty and violence, a clever and sensitive Palestinian child tries his hardest to keep his home and family safe from aggressive settlers, even if just for a little while.

Jomu’a is a Palestinian who lives in a refugee camp. Every early morning, he goes to the entrance of the refugee camp to earn his living selling coffee. He tries to find additional work but the only job available is to demolish a house.

Sawsan is 22-years-old and, like many her age who still live at home: feels suffocated and regularly fights with her parents. Eventually she decides to run away and journey into the night life of Bethlehem city where she finds an unexpected surprise.

Bittersweet Night

Isak Fossum, a Norwegian writer and superstar is working on the sequel to his first book. This work is tearing on his soul and leads Isak to feel the pressure of not being able to deliver what is expected of him, both from his line of work and from his beautiful wife Isabell. He has been given a deadline, he has one month to complete a draft for his new novel. At this point in life Isak is scared of losing everything and the pain makes him very unstable. His relationship with Isabell is struggling. One day she decides to arrange a vacation to save their relationship. But Isak doesn't know that Isabell has her own agenda. She wants something, something he can't give. This is the trip that may change them forever.
