A single pregnant woman living without her husband or any man, alone, in a society of people where everyone questions her character and mysterious lifestyle. Chandramukhi, the city educated daughter of the village zamindar returns to Ramnagar, a typical village. There she meets her childhood friend Birju aka Brij Mohan.
