Jason Kidd

Biography

Jason Frederick Kidd (born March 23, 1973) is an American former professional basketball player and is currently the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). According to reports, he will also have a small ownership stake in the team, pending NBA approval. Previously a point guard in the NBA, he was a ten-time NBA All-Star, a five-time All-NBA First Team member, and a nine-time NBA All-Defensive Team member. He won an NBA championship in 2011 as a member of the Dallas Mavericks. Raised in Oakland, California, Kidd played college basketball for the California Golden Bears and was drafted second overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the 1994 NBA Draft. He was named co-NBA Rookie of the Year in his first season with the Mavericks. Then, from 1996 to 2001, Kidd played for the Phoenix Suns and later for the New Jersey Nets from 2001 to 2008. He led the Nets to two consecutiveNBA Finals appearances in 2002 and 2003. In the middle of the 2007–08 season, Kidd was traded back to Dallas, where he won his only NBA championship in 2011. After finishing his playing career with the New York Knicks in 2012–13, he retired and returned a week later as head coach for the now Brooklyn Nets. Kidd's ability to pass and rebound made him a regular triple-double threat, and he retired ranked third all-time in the NBA for regular season triple-doubles with a career total of 107 and second in playoff triple-doubles with a career total of 11. He also won two Olympic gold medals with the US national team in 2000 and 2008.

Marc Maron (born September 27, 1963) is an American stand-up comedian and podcast host. He has been host of The Marc Maron Show, and co-host of both Morning Sedition, and Breakroom Live, all politically-oriented shows, produced under the auspices of Air America Media. He was also the host of Comedy Central's Short Attention Span Theater for a year, replacing Jon Stewart. Maron has been a frequent guest on the Late Show with David Letterman and made 44 appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, more than any other stand-up performer. He was also a regular guest on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and hosted the short-lived American version of the British game show Never Mind the Buzzcocks on VH1.

Robert Fredrick "Rob" Paulsen III  (born March 11, 1956), sometimes credited as Rob Paulson, is an American voice actor, best known as the voice behind Raphael from the 1987 cartoon of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Yakko Warner and Dr. Otto Scratchansniff from Animaniacs, Pinky from Pinky and the Brain and Animaniacs, Rev Runner from Loonatics Unleashed, and Throttle from the 1990s and 2006 versions of Biker Mice From Mars. His role as Yakko won him a Daytime Emmy Award for male vocal performance; he won a second one for his portrayal of Pinky. In total, Paulsen has been the voice of over 250 different animated characters and performed in over 1000 commercials. He continues to play minor parts in dozens of cartoons as well as supporting characters in animated movies. Robin Curtis (bornJune 15, 1956) is an American real estate broker and actress. She is most notable for replacing Kirstie Alley in the role of Vulcan Lieutenant Saavik in the films Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Although her first appearance as Vulcan Lieutenant Saavik in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock was promoted as being her film debut, in fact Curtis had already made several film and made-for-television movie appearances. Her performance in the film drew mixed reception from Trek fans, and was followed by a brief appearance as Saavik in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. She co-starred in the 1983 episode "Short Notice" during the first season of the Knight Rider television series. In 1991, she portrayed Carol Pulaski on the soap opera General Hospital. In 1993, Curtis portrayed an unrelated Vulcan character disguised as a Romulan (Tallera/T'Paal) in the two-part episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation "Gambit," for which she was screen-tested instead of being given any special consideration. In the Babylon 5 episode "Deathwalker" (1994), she appeared as Abbai Ambassador Kalika. She also appeared in the television series Dream On, Herman's Head, Night Court, MacGyver, Johnny Bago, and The Equalizer. Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson is a singer and songwriter from England. She has been featured on several hit singles till date, including Clean Bandit's "Rockabye", "Friends", "Alarm" and "Ciao Adios". She first performed on the stage as a 12-year-old when she appeared in a West End production of 'Whistle Down the Wind.' Aside from West End commitments, she spent her early years struggling to become a pop singer and also tried her luck in professional karate championships at least three times. Anne-Marie has said that it was karate that taught her focus and discipline, the two essential characteristics of a successful musician. She has been practicing karate since the age of nine. She won double gold and gold and silver in the Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association World Championships in 2002 and 2007 respectively. She has also won the gold in the United Kingdom Traditional Karate Federation National Championships. She pursued her music career alongside karate and her debut album 'Speak Your Mind' was released in April 2018. In 2013, Anne-Marie released a solo demo for the Rocket Records called "Summer Girl". She then spent the next two years touring with Will Heard and Dizzee Rascal and also appeared on two songs from their album 'We the Generation'. On 10 June 2015, she released her debut EP titled 'Karate'. This EP featured three original singles and a Chloe Martini remixes. Two singles from the album, "Karate," a slick fusion of R&B and electro-grime, and the follow-up "Gemini," became hits. In November that year, the British singer released the single "Do It Right", which managed to peak at # 90 on the UK Singles Chart. Then in May 2016, she released the first track from her debut studio album, "Alarm". The same year, Clean Bandit came out with a song "Rockabye" that featured Anne-Marie as the main vocalist. Soon after this, she released the solo single "Ciao Adios" which she had earlier performed live at KOKO. Anne-Marie's next track was her collaboration with Snakehips, titled "Either Way". On 22 September 2017, she released the single "Heavy", followed by "Then". In 2018, the British singer cum songwriter collaborated with Marshmello on the song "Friends". On 21 February 2018, Anne-Marie announced that her debut album titled 'Speak Your Mind' will be released in April 2018. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Geraldine Leigh Chaplin (born July 31, 1944) is an American actress. She is the daughter of Charlie Chaplin, the first of eight children with his fourth wife, Oona O'Neill. After beginnings in dance and modeling, she turned her attention to acting, and made her English-language acting debut (and came to prominence in what would be a Golden Globe-nominated role) in her portrayal of Tonya in David Lean's Doctor Zhivago (1965). She made her Broadway acting debut in Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes in 1967, and played the role of ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti in Raúl Araiza's Nefertiti and Akhenaton (1973) alongside famous Egyptian actor Salah Zulfikar. Chaplin received her second Golden Globe nomination for Robert Altman's Nashville (1975). She received a BAFTA nomination for her role in Welcome to L.A. (1976). She played her grandmother Hannah Chaplin in the biopic Chaplin (1992) for which she received her third Golden Globe nomination. Kevin Patrick Smith (born August 2, 1970) is an American filmmaker, actor, comedian, public speaker, comic book writer, author, and podcaster. He came to prominence with the low-budget comedy film Clerks (1994), which he wrote, directed, co-produced, and acted in as the character Silent Bob of stoner duo Jay and Silent Bob. Jay and Silent Bob also appeared in Smith's later films Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, which are set primarily in his home state of New Jersey. While not strictly sequential, the films have crossover plot elements, character references, and a shared canon known as the "View Askewniverse", named after Smith's production company View Askew Productions, which he co-founded with Scott Mosier.
