Angelie comes from a family of sorcerers. As a tradition, everyone should have a virgin sacrifice before their 18th birthday to escape the curse. With the help of her aunt Chada, she hunts a virgin to stay alive.

The movie follows a group of teenagers that are terrorized by an evil spirit. The film revolves around the traditional Filipino belief that one should never go home directly after visiting a wake since it risks bringing evil spirits or the deceased to one's home.

Amidst the vast sugar plantations of Negros in Southern Philippines, a matriarch lies in the throes of death. Her children rush home to confront the crisis as news of the impending death of their well-loved mother spreads among the community. You'll never look at a statue of the Virgin Mary the same way again. Based on the assertion that divine apparitions aren’t what they always appear to be, Vesuvius is an interesting take on the psychopath with Catholicism smacked against the background. Gio Alvarez provides a convincing portrayal of a madman, and people can even argue if this short inclines toward the supernatural or the psychological. Whereas Grave Torture uses darkness impeccably, Vesuvius plays with light so well.

Alfredo S. Lim has just been awarded as one of Manila's ten most outstanding policemen. The celebration has abruptly ended when one of his co-honorees is killed while trying to stop a robbery. Lim tracks down these criminals which ruffles the feathers of powerful people. His work takes a personal toll on his marriage and also puts his family in danger.

After a drug lord is apprehended by the police, a syndicate does everything in its power to get him out of jail, since he has money that should be divided among the members, so a general's grandson is kidnapped to facilitate his release.

Valentin Zapanta (Eddie Garcia) was know as "Ninong" ("Godfather") by the whole of Tondo. Because of his large territory, many tried to usurp his hold on Tondo. And when the time came, it was the least of his expectations that his closest "friend," whom he treated as his own son, would be the one to betray him.

Sgt. Bobby Aguilar is a good depiction of a young and dedicated soldier wherein he is devastated by a corrupt military organization, a gambling lord and an irresponsible father.
