Desert Utopia: Mid-Century Architecture in Palm Springs traces the history of modern architecture in Palm Springs from the first bold forays into modernist design to the preservation challenges facing the region today. Director Jake Gorst’s film features rare archival images and footage as well as interviews with historians, homeowners and the architects who helped create this mecca of modernism.

This film follows Kevin as he journeys to Japan and performs in Japan's National Tsugaru Shamisen Competition all the while creating unique style and music of his own called, California Shamisen.

The film is a study of drag culture in Russia and the life of Russian travesty divas in St. Petersburg compared to similar artists from Western countries, where the sexual revolution took place at the time and they became icons of pop culture. Is travesty an art? What is hidden under a mask of foundation and powder? What brought young people into the travesty business?

"Children of the Dictatorship" documentary is produced by the Institute for Democracy, Media & Culture and directed by Besnik Bisha. It centers on four characters of various ages that were born and passed their childhood in prisons or internment camps: Simon Mirakaj, Alma Liço, Ritvana Mena dhe Lurian Mena. They belong to different generations and bring to the Albanian and foreign audience an autobiographical approach to the system. This documentary, done in cooperation with the Directing branch of the University of Arts, aims to raise awareness about the consequences of the Communist past where even newborns were often punished according to the law of the time as "enemies of the people".
