While investigating the man's death, Chen discovers that a rival Japanese school is operating a drug smuggling ring. Through a series of flashbacks, four Chinese women born in America and their respective mothers born in feudal China explore their pasts.

Little Tom is deeply hurt, but May's ongoing conflict with her mother takes a respite when Rose tells her daughter about her traumatic teenage years.

A detective from Hong Kong teams up with an American gambler to battle against a notorious Chinese criminal.
