From the Life of the Marionettes

Winter storm’s night. In his last breaths of life, Jules (35 y/o) imagines himself at home, taking one last look at his daughter. As he gaze around, he notices Sara (9 y/o) is immersed in reading a comic book. Jules feels that he doesn’t have much time left. He knows this moment with Sara will be his last, and it will be short. Too short. But all he wants, is to take his time.

Gerardo is a gay newspaper editor in the 1980s who faces a dilemma that could define his way of life.

The stories of three lesbian couples -- who live in the same house at different periods of time -- who are at a crossroads in their lives. In 1961, Edith loses her lover, Abby, to a stroke. After an Afghanistan-born woman who lives in Canada receives a letter from her suicidal sister, she takes a perilous journey through Afghanistan to try to find her.

When a U.S. Marine returns home from Afghanistan, he finds that the place he once called home is no better than the battlefields he fought on overseas. Accompanied by his best friend, he searches desperately for the whereabouts of his estranged son and wife. In their search, the two intercept a man carrying vital information about his family.

Mondo-style docudrama about a war correspondent who comes back home and has a spiritual crisis about his own mortality. Surreal fantasy sequences are mixed with graphic real autopsy footage.

A middle-aged Tehranian man, Mr. Badii is intent on killing himself and seeks someone to bury him after his demise. Driving around the city, the seemingly well-to-do Badii meets with numerous people, including a Muslim student, asking them to take on the job, but initially he has little luck. Eventually, Badii finds a man who is up for the task because he needs the money, but his new associate soon tries to talk him out of committing suicide.

Max returns to see his doctor a few years after their previous interview. The opportunity for him to take stock of recent years, of this seemingly quiet youth behind which a painful journey had been hidden: to face this state which he nevertheless defined as incurable.

Based on actual facts and events, explores the Thelemic Commune in Cefalu, Sicily from 1920-1923.

"The Letter Men" is based on the real love letters written by Gilbert Bradley to his sweetheart, Gordon Bowsher during WWII. Exchanged between 1938 and 1941, the letters were uncovered in 2017 and represent the largest known collection LGBTQ love letters from that time period. Using text from the actual letters, "The Letter Men" follows the two men as their fight to keep their love alive in the face of war and loss.

Inspired by true events, Aban + Khorshid is an intimate portrait of two lovers, glimpsing into the world in which they met, moments before their execution for being gay.

On his first foray out onto London's thriving gay scene, newly single Adam meets Rocky, a handsome and mysterious drifter, with whom he shares an instant and undeniable chemistry. Plot details are still under wraps, but it will feature a grown-up version of Tick’s 7-year-old son from the original film.
