Teenagers have always experimented with their sexuality, progressing from touching and kissing, to heavy petting, to full sex. But in an age where pornography is omnipresent and sexting common in schools, have the rules of engagement changed? Young people between the ages of 12 and 23 are interviewed about their first sexual experiences. What emerges is an environment of extreme social pressure and a loss of innocence experienced with feelings of fear, shame and guilt.

A hybrid of documentary and fiction, Rukus is a queer coming-of-age story set in the liminal spaces of furry conventions, southern punk houses, and virtual worlds.

Mitsuki and Yuya become stepsister and stepbrother because of their parents' marriage. Mitsuki can't get along with her new family and Yuya doesn't know how to approach his new stepsister. One day, Mitsuki becomes possessed by the spirit of Hiyori. Hiyori likes Yuya and believes Yuya can help her get to heaven. Hiyori places a leather chastity belt upon on Mitsuki and a plan takes place to help send Hiyori to heaven.

A teen couple plans for a night in private when the boy’s parents are away. At first it appears as a cosy night of sofa lounging, snack eating and film. But it soon becomes evident that beneath the façade of relaxed mutuality, there is a relationship based on insecurities and demands. Due to a fight, the parents cut their evening short, and when they return, the situation gets out of hand and feelings of hurt lead to abuse. Adolfsson paints a gruesome picture of adolescent love and how fears and expectations can completely override a young person’s will.

A sketch comedy movie about the joys and embarrassments of teen sex. But mostly the embarrassments.
