Anarchy and madness result when a plague of rabbits overrun the country home of an unrepentant hunter, in this “day of the lepus” farce.

Accomplished musician Blanche Ladoré (played by “Léontine”) places a personal ad in the paper wishing to marry an “equally talented musician.” Rémi Lacroche responds to her call. They meet in public, she with her trombone and he with his bass drum. It’s love at first sight but public noise disturbance to all within earshot. They wreak such havoc they end up in the police station!

Suffering from unrequited love, Max hangs himself from a tree, and ends up hanging for hours while local townspeople squabble over whose responsibility it is to rescue him.

A love doctor successfully produces men on order for needy women, until his system for delivering them – through the mail as puppets in canisters - goes awry.

Robinet escapes from his wife’s smothering devotion to the adventure of lovemaking outside marriage.

Stan Laurel is picked up at the train depot and brought back by the husband to the family home where the wife is having a suffragette meeting. None too pleased they cause mayhem and then the neighbours are brought into it as Stan cleans up the backyard by throwing all the rubbish into their award winning garden.

A young man puts on the play "Romeo and Juliet" as a fundraiser, but has to keep a close eye on his dad, who's had several drinks too many, and a pesky cab driver who's determined to collect his fare.

The wealthy hat maker Cederström has two daughters, Marianne and Lotte. He has decided that Marianne should marry Melander even though she loves the poet Malm. Lotte on the other hand loves Melander.

Snub, the delivery man, and his assistant, Sunny, are returning from a delivery when they almost run over a lost woman. After she asks for directions, they accompany the woman to a dance school, where Snub is mistaken for the new professor.

Out of the three-part burlesque, the only surviving one is the one called Pufi would buy a pair of shoes, with Hungarian inserts. The film is shot on a real-life location, in a Budapest shoe shop, and it portrays the mutual efforts of a puny sales assistant and Pufi, the bladder-of-lard customer, to find him a suitable pair of shoes. The content of the other two parts is not known.

The sketch then moves with the clueless nerd getting involved in all sorts of troubles until he accidentally gets into a hideout from a terrorist group that will complicate things for him more than he ever hoped.

Two smugglers meet two customs officers at sea, and happen to kill them. The story continues fifteen years later when a son of one of the officers and a smuggler's daughter fall in love with each other.

A series of family entanglements develop around the changing will of Roger Bernhuses de Sars, who wants his heritage to go to his illegitimate daughter Blenda. But love and fate also plays their cards.
