At birth, three children are abandoned in a convent. They are Polito Sol and his siblings, Adriana and Carmelo Águila and they grow up to become the "Águila o Sol" trio. Many years later, Don Hipólito, Polito's father becomes rich and decides to search for his son. In the end he finds Polito and the Aguila siblings.

This story shows the two different parts of acting. The father is a strong, ambitious and inconsiderate actor but his son (Tibor) is a sensitive one. This all takes part somewhere in Hungary when socialism "controlled" the country.

Bill Snibson, a chancer from Lambeth Walk in South London, is informed that he has been discovered to be the long-lost heir to a title and castle which he can claim provided he is able to convince his new relations that he has enough aristocratic bearing. Things soon begin to go awry however, particularly when Sally, Bill's girlfriend from Lambeth, turns up.

After insulting a contract worker, young Joshua is sent to do his Community Service in a retirement home, run by a couple whose name is Thenardier, and whose residents are all former forgotten comedians. Among them, two strong heads, who have lost none of their youthful enthusiasm: Julien Dorval, big mouth with tall verb and flowery language, and his best friend, the nice Daniel ... Joshua will quickly realize that something is wrong with the "Bleuets", and will try to make the lives of his residents smoother, by offering them one last lap ...

The elderly Arnolphe has decided to marry a young woman, Agnes, whom he has fallen in love with. She is too young and innocent to realize what plans he has for her. But Agnes and Arnolphe's young friend, the dandy Horace, have fallen in love with each other. Their love is a threat to Arnolphe's attempt at getting married. Can the cunning Arnolphe stop them?

When the friendship between two men is put to the test by two women, we can only laugh because the author has managed to adapt this situation in a superb comedy.
