La Vela Puerca - Uno Para Todos

Normally abnormal is the first DVD by the Uruguayan band La Vela Puerca.

Shot back May 2016, the intimate show saw the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman play through favourites by both of his bands, as well as covers by the likes of Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, Kiss, Buzzcocks, REM and The Cure. Now, he’s made the whole show available as an early Christmas gift to fans.

Hearts Ann and Nancy Wilson returned to their hometown of Seattle to stage a celebration of the Christmas season, gathering a few of their friends to join them in singing holiday classics, personal favorites and some of their own hits. Special guests Shawn Colvin, Sammy Hagar, Richard Marx and Pat Monahan from Train joined HEART for this once-in-a-lifetime concert, which was taped on Dec. 12 2013 at the beautiful Benaroya Symphony Concert Hall in Seattle. The Wilson sisters performed an array of holiday songs written by Joni Mitchell, Harry Nilsson, Bob Dylan and Hagar in their Christmas set as well as some of HEART s favorite songs. Colvin, Hagar, Marx and Monahan provided additional vocals on the tunes and/or sing duets with Heart.

In 1986, with nine members, the Titãs recorded the album "Cabeça Dinossauro", one of the most important records in the history of Brazilian rock. In 2012, as a quartet (Paulo Miklos, Branco Mello, Sérgio Britto and Tony Bellotto), the band celebrates 30 years and commemorative tour in a show recorded live at the Circo Voador, Rio de Janeiro) . The DVD was directed by Oscar Rodrigues Alves, one of the directors of the Titãs' documentary "Life Like a Party". The band plays heavy, with the blow it deserves.

Affectionate but honest portrait of Thin Lizzy, arguably the best hard rock band to come out of Ireland. Starting with the remix of the classic album Jailbreak by Scott Gorham and Brian Downie, the film takes us through the rollercoaster ride that is the story of Thin Lizzy. From early footage of singer Phil Lynott in Ireland in his pre-Lizzy bands the Black Eagles and Orphanage, it follows his progress as he, guitarist Eric Bell and drummer Brian Downie form the basic three-piece that was to become Thin Lizzy - a name taken from the Beano. Using original interviews with Bell, Downie, the man who signed them and their first manager, it traces the early years leading to the recruitment of guitarists Brian 'Robbo' Robertson and Scott Gorham - the classic line-up. The film uses a number of stills, some seen on TV for the first time, archive from contemporary TV shows and a range of tracks both well known and not so famous.

From its emergence in the 1950s to its 1971 banning and subsequent legalization more than a decade later, rock 'n' roll music has played an important -- and controversial -- role in Mexican culture. This documentary traces that history. Through interviews with some of the country's most influential rockers -- including Javier Batiz, Fito De la Parra and Johnny Ortega -- director Lance Miccio tells the story of an epic struggle for artistic freedom.

Petar Peca Popović is one of the greatest, most famous, most authoritative and for sure, the best, connoisseur of Rock and Roll in the former Yugoslavia. He promoted Rock and Roll in those heroic times. Fragmentary perspectives on Human Rights and transgender (trans*) People in Turkey. What remains at the place where a murder happened? What constitutes trans* life? How to cope with daily violence and hatred? We begin to search for traces. We follow the tracks of resistance and survival. We are collectors of the expelled. We gather fragments of trans* lives inspired by texts of Nazim Hikmet, Foucault, Benjamin and Zeki Müren. Trans*BUT is a documental research study driven by the question: “What keeps you going when all else falls away?”

This stunning live footage of AC/DC underscores what Argentina’s Pagina 12 newspaper reported by saying “no one is on the same level when it comes to pure and clear Rock ‘n Roll.”

Maniática: directo a tu conciencia

A documentary made for television that looks back on the development and rapid rise of Oasis from being a band practicing nightly in the Boardwalk to one the biggest British bands of the last thirty years. Building from the formation of the band (with Liam apparently just fed up waiting for other bands to release records and decides to do something himself), the film uses contributions from key people really well to tell the story in an engaging way.

Japanese rock band Ziggy comes to London and gets attacked upon arrival at the hotel after a recording session. The musicians barely escape the attack; however, soon they learn that their producer has been murdered, and they are the suspects! Chased by police and some mysterious organization, they find shelter at a local rockers' place and even give a performance there; but it is not too long before their pursuers appear again.
