Despite their different family backgrounds, four friends grew up together in the wearisome years of the 70s. But as time goes by, each of them takes a different life path.

Hyun-soo is a skillful individual stock investor, so-called ‘ant’. One day, he cashes in up seventy thousand dollars through stock trading and this jackpot gets him implicated in a $60 million stock manipulation by scam artists from various fields. With no where else to turn, Sven asks Falk to help him deal with the crazed Lehmann; Falk agrees, but soon realizes he's dealing with a more dangerous man than he imagined when Lehmann kidnaps Falk's wife Jeanette, and then releases her with a time bomb locked around her neck, demanding that Falk hand over ownership of his detective agency to Lehmann.
