In 1980, the black Falashas in Ethiopia are recognised as genuine Jews and are secretly carried to Israel. The day before the transport the son of a Jewish mother dies. In his place and with his name (Schlomo) she takes a Christian 9-year-old boy.

The soundtrack boasts an unmissable eclectic score by legendary experimental musician and composer Otomo Yoshihide.

The helpless kids fight for their very lives against what used to be friends and lovers.

When a younger girl called Emily Rose dies, everyone puts blame on the exorcism which was performed on her by Father Moore prior to her death. The priest is arrested on suspicion of murder. The trial begins with lawyer Erin Bruner representing Moore, but it is not going to be easy, as no one wants to believe what Father Moore says is true.

For Lily Deckert, what first seems innocent becomes a possessive nightmare as the supernatural lurks within until it’s cast out of her.
