A man and a woman meet in the ruins of post-war Poland. With vastly different backgrounds and temperaments, they are fatally mismatched and yet drawn to each other.

The student Nawal meets the writer Ahmed Sharaf El-Din, who is looking for a new face for a new film he wants to write. She learns to dance, sing and drink. She meets the director Raouf. In the middle of the first experience and her encouragement of Ahmed, the director casts his net on her. Her mother dies, and Nawal lives with Ahmed but refuses to marry him, hoping to become a famous star.

The film's events revolve around Abdo (Ahmed Mazhar), who works as a teacher in a girls' school instead of his colleague Jamal (Omar Al-Hariri), who has gained wide popularity among the girls, especially Attiyat (Souad Hosni). Abdo marries his student Atiyat, but their marital relationship experiences a lot of tension because of Abdo's constant suspicion of his wife and his belief that she is having an affair with Jamal.

Student Nahid (Madiha Kamel) falls in love with the doctor (Ahmed Mazhar), the father of her friend (Laila Hamada), and tries to reach his heart, but her mother (Maryam Fakhr El-Din) objects to this and tries to prevent her from doing so, and when he proposes to her mother, which causes her to suffer from a condition... She is severely depressed, so her uncle (Hassan Mustafa) tries to help her accept it.

An unsettling feeling overwhelms a small Hungarian town when two orthodox Jews arrive with a mysterious trunk. As residents begin to speculate on the purpose of the visit of these two strangers, order starts to crumble in town with some pursuing devious plans and others finding remorse in their hearts.
