Set in present-day Los Angeles, Deep Cuts is a black comedy surrounding an average 20-something guy named Sal, who's recently been diagnosed with cancer. In the midst of his treatment, losing his hair, chemotherapy, depression and loss, Sal realizes his time is limited and the opportunity to seize his moment is fleeting. Forgoing what the world may think, Sal follows the passion he's always had: becoming a rapper. Under the alias "Deep Cuts" and with the help of his therapist, Sal reaches out to an old acquaintance from high school that slowly morphs into a mentorship. Through this experience,a new life begins for Sal. The life of Deep Cuts.

Advertising executive Nick Beame learns that his wife is sleeping with his employer. In exchange for borrowing Godzilla and Rodan, the Xiliens offer a cure for cancer. As Glenn investigates, he develops a romance with Miss Namikawa and uncovers the Xilien's true intentions.

A portion of the tail of a prehistoric reptile is discovered in Denmark. It regenerates into the entire reptile, which proceeds to destroy buildings and property and generally make a nuisance of itself. It can fly, swim, and walk, and has impenetrable scales, which makes it difficult to kill.

The giant monster Raiga returns, rising in Atami Harbor and attacking the city. A second kaiju, Ohga, soon joins the chaos, and the two monsters clash, destroying large sections of the city. Defense forces launch two new weapons, the giant tank Kamikaze and the drill tank Gokumei, to meet the the monster invasion head on. But as the beasts work their way to Tokyo, will they be enough to stop the monsters from laying waste to the city?
