A tale about a wealthy businessman with a wayward son who is prone to the odd flutter. Having been sent down (expelled) from university he has a face-to-face conversation with his father who offers to settle the debts if he gets his act together - that isn't going to happen so the son heads to the trusted family solicitor for help. Unbeknown to him, however, that solicitor is in league with his father's secretary to rob him of £20,000 worth of bearer bonds. Now it becomes a quite complex tale of robbery, murder and betrayal from director John Paddy Carstairs. None of the performers are particularly notable, but en masse, it's quite a fun feature.
