Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1983. In the last and turbulent days of the military dictatorship, Alicia, a high school history teacher, begins to ask uncomfortable questions about the dark origins of Gaby, her adopted daughter.

El Tenso does not know how to face his ill-tempered wife, Tana, to tell her that he wants to separate. Returning to Montevideo, they meet Dolores, a friend of their late mother. Memé's affair with a man complicates her relationship with her sister. Then Andy invites the pair to his seaside retreat, a lighthouse.

At age 13, a street kid known as "El Polaquito" makes his living mostly by singing tangos (originally sung by his namesake, the singer "El Polaco") on Buenos Aires commuter trains. He falls in love with a 16 year old prostitute, also working for the Mafia controlling child exploitation in one of Argentina's busiest train stations. He tries to rescue her from this cruel life with no future. But to do so, he must confront the ruthless adult gang leaders, as well as the young kids who protect them, believing that this Mafia is truly their only option. The story is supposedly based on a true story, which happened, and was discovered in Argentina in the late 90s, early 2000s.

An experienced commercial pilot is forced to collaborate with his country's intelligence services to avoid being punished for a serious fault he committed on the job. He is quickly plunged into an underworld of intrigue and extortion that will put his life at risk and he will pay a very high price to escape from it.

In 1986, Facundo's father had a store in the heart of Buenos Aires, and it was very successful. However, in the early 90s, with the arrival of Chinese supermarkets, the store couldn't compete and had to close. Thirty years later, Facundo travels to the other end of the planet with the sole purpose of getting revenge by opening the first Argentine supermarket in China.
