The second movie in David Hare's Johnny Worricker trilogy. Loose-limbed spy Johnny Worricker, last seen whistleblowing at MI5 in Page Eight, has a new life. He is hiding out in Ray-Bans on the Caribbean islands of the title, eating lobster and calling himself Tom Eliot (he’s a poet at heart). We’re drawn into his world and his predicament when Christopher Walken strolls in as a shadowy American who claims to know Johnny. The encounter forces him into the company of some ambiguous American businessmen who claim to be on the islands for a conference on the global financial crisis. When one of them falls in the sea, their financial PR seems to know more than she's letting on. Worricker soon learns the extent of their shady activities and he must act quickly to survive when links to British prime minister Alec Beasley come to light.

Vijay, a village chairman, marries a poor girl, Lakshmi, against his family's wish. Vijay's brother-in-law is enraged for not marrying his daughter and devises a plan to defame him.

The story begins with a group of government officers who come to list the number of devastated houses. The officers promised them to give a big amount to build their house but in exchange for a little amount to register their name.

Shekhar, a rich man's son marries Laxmi, to prevent an embarrassing situation for her, when the bridegroom, his friend, is arrested for being associated with a gang. Suspicion against his wife's fidelity makes Shekhar drive her out of the house. A series of incidents, however, bring the husband and wife together.

A woman who focused on being a mother feels that she no longer has any purpose now that her son has made his own life, until one lonely night after a storm, she finds a nest on the ground of her garden with a small egg that gives signs of life, and when she rescues him she puts aside her monotony to take care of him as if she were his mother.

Then Ken Arok is recruited as a soldier of Tumapel. Inside the palace, he sees Ken Dedes and immediately falls in love. The bad intention to kill Tunggul Ametung comes to his mind. Since Loh Gawe does not agree with his intention, Ken Arok gets an approval from his adoptive father, Bango Samparan. Shortly after, he orders a keris (a wavy knife) from Empu Gandring, a famous blade smith.

Madhusudhan, the head of Nirupama old age home, strives every day to spread happiness and cheer in a place that houses a deep sense of loss and rejection. A home inhabited by frail and old abandoned people, who have nowhere else to go and call Nirupama their home. Tapan, Madhusudhan's only son grew up training himself to survive the world alone. He blames Madhusudhan for being a father in absentia and also for his mother's death. The story takes us through an emotional roller-coaster of a father and son relationship in the backdrop of Kolkata- a city jostling between fading tradition and modernity taking over.
