Sally embarks on a dream summer trip to Sicily with her childhood best friend, Poppy, hoping to re-connect before they start university. Confronted with Poppy’s volatile new partner, Alex, Sally is strangely drawn to the traditional puppets decorating their villa, as the strings that bind the two friends threaten to rip them apart.

The project also won the Best Story Pitch award at the Edinburgh Film Festival, June 2012.
